The Sony mylo COM-2 hasn't received the same amount of press that the Nokia Internet Tablet series and the Apple iPod touch have, but it is a similar device that gives users the ability to use web-based applications on a PDA-like device with a highly-functional browser.
Sony has released a software update for this model which brings improved device performance, multimedia refinements, and other enhancements.

The latest version of the mylo COM-2 software is labeled Revision 1.201, and features:
Features from previous software updates are bundled in this one, including the ability to play Windows Media Audio files and a SSL security update.
To perform this update, the mylo COM-2 must be plugged into both a Windows XP or Vista PC and the AC outlet. Currently, Mac OS X and Linux are not supported for mylo updates.

The Sony mylo COM-2 is the second of Internet tablet device designed by Sony. This iteration features a larger screen, slide-out keyboard, improved Wi-Fi, and many multimedia and browser improvements over the initial version.
Like the previous model, it is able to view websites and take pictures. However, the mylo COM-2 features several upgrades in performance and ability, making it a solid option for those looking for a device that is the size of a PDA, but has several wireless connectivity options.
The touchscreen-equipped mylo COM-2 has an 800-480 pixel display, Wi-Fi, an advanced brower based on Access' NetFront, and a 1.3 megapixel digital camera with several zoom levels and a macro mode.
While not open to third-party development, there are several widgets available for the mylo COM-2 that extend its web functionality.
It has a suggested retail price of $300.
