Although the HTC Touch Diamond has received a great deal of praise, there has been some criticism, too. Fortunately for users of this smartphone, developers have been hard at work on free software to fix it flaws.
GSen
The Diamond has built-in accelerometer that allows users to switch the screen from portrait to landscape modes simply by turning the device on its side. However, there are only a few applications that allow this. After installing GSen, users will no longer have this limitation.

GSen is freeware, and can be downloaded from the SKKV Software website.
Diamond TF3D Config
One of the hallmarks of the Diamond is TouchFLO3D, an overlay for Windows Mobile that makes this smartphone easier to use with a fingertip. HTC gave users very little ability to configure this, but Diamond TF3D Config changes that.
With this utility, users can change the order that the TouchFLO3D tabs are listed in. It also allows unwanted tabs to be hidden.
Diamond TF3D Config is freeware available on PPCW-Welt, a forum based in Germany. The application is also being mirrored on the::unwired.
