1 Million iPhone 3Gs Sold During Launch Weekend
On Sunday, Apple sold its one millionth iPhone 3G, after the device launched on Friday morning.
"It took 74 days to sell the first one million original iPhones, so the new iPhone 3G is clearly off to a great start around the world," said Steve Jobs, Apple's CEO.
In addition, that iPhone and iPod touch users downloaded more than 10 million applications from the new App Store during its first weekend.
Kingston Releases 8 GB microSD Card
Kingston Technology has added an 8 GB microSD/SDHC card to its product line. This can store more than 1,500 digital songs, more than 4,000 images from a 5 MPx cameraphone, or up to eight hours of video.

Opera Mobile 9.5 Public Beta Coming Later this Week
In June, Opera Software said that it would release first beta of Opera Mobile 9.5 for Windows Mobile on July 15. However, the company announced yesterday that bugs that cropped up recently have caused it to move the introduction of this browser by a couple of days, and it is now scheduled for July 17.
Opera Mobile 9.5 will be based on the same rendering engine as Opera 9.5 for desktop PCs.
This will be followed up by a version for Symbian later.
