If unconfirmed reports are correct, the next two BlackBerries from RIM aren't going to hit the market until this fall. This includes the BlackBerry Bold, which earlier reports said was scheduled for this summer.
A number of carriers are going to launch the Bold in September, according to Boy Genius Report. Work on the hardware is supposedly finished, but developers are still hard at work on the backend software.

The BlackBerry Thunder -- RIM's first model with a touchscreen -- will reportedly be released by Verizon Wireless in October. This will be preceded by a large marketing campaign to build up demand.
More about the BlackBerry Bold
RIM unveiled the BlackBerry Bold earlier this summer. This smartphone will offer a number of firsts for this long-running product line.
In addition to being the first BlackBerry with the 3G standard HSDPA, it will have a higher-resolution screen than any previous RIM model, and much better support for working with Microsoft Office files.
More about the BlackBerry Thunder
There has not been an official announcement of the BlackBerry Thunder from RIM.
According to various leaks and rumors, this model will have a tablet shape with a relatively large screen.
It will supposedly depend almost entirely on its touchscreen for input. There'll be no hardware keyboard, not even a sliding one, nor a trackball. There are, however, a full collection of standard control buttons.
