Palringo Unified Instant Messaging Client Comes to the iPhone

Palringo is mobile instant messaging client that brings together IM services such as Google Talk, Yahoo IM, Windows Live Messenger, and several others. This application is now a part of Apple's AppStore and available for iPhone devices running the latest software.

In addition to being able to query several IM services at once, thereby getting past the need to multitask several IM applications, Palringo also can send and receive picture messages using the iPhone’s data connection. This simulates MMS (multimedia messaging services), a feature that is not on the device's original software.

An upcoming release of Palringo will add the ability to do voice instant messages via the Vocal IM add-on.

Palringo for the iPhone and iPod touch is free and downloadable from the iTunes App Store.

There are also Palringo clients available in Windows Mobile, Symbian, and Java versions available for download from the Palringo website.
