Demonstrating the popularity of the platform and the ease in learning how to develop for it, Stanford University (CA) will be offering an iPhone Programming Course as a part of its 2008 - 2009 course schedule.
Further information about the course cannot be gleaned from the Stanford's 2008-2009 course offerings website, however it is possible that an Apple employee will be the person teaching the course considering the proximity of Stanford to Apple's main offices.
According to The Unofficial Apple Weblog, this is not the first Apple programming course that has been offered to Stanford students. A previous course in Cocoa was taught by an Apple employee.
