Nokia and Maemo have introduced a small "bug fix" update for the system software on the Internet Tablet line.
This is for the latest version of the Maemo operating system (code-named Diablo), and, according to Nokia, offers "Updates to Email and Browser stability".
Users who have already installed this report that the web browser, MicroB, is noticeably faster.
This is the first update that takes advantage of the new SSU (seamless software updating) system which is built into Diablo. This allows components of the operating system to be updated without having to rewrite the entire operating system.
Those with a device running Diablo should be notified that the update is available after the unit has been connected to the Internet.
