Motorola has finally made official the Windows Mobile 6.1 update for its Q9h smartphone.
This update was found some weeks ago leaked in an unofficial -- but near final shipping quality -- version. Now, with the update official, AT&T customers with a Q9h can enjoy some of the improvements of Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard on their devices.
For non-touchscreen smartphones such as the Q9h, Windows Mobile 6.1 adds a sliding panel interface for the Today Screen, improvements in handling wireless connections, and an update to Internet Explorer Mobile.
