A new science-fiction series includes one of the characters using a very advanced smartphone running someone's concept of a future version of Windows Mobile.
The Gemini Division is produced by NBC, but it's available only online. The first webisode starts off with the lead character, played by Rosario Dawson, using an ultra-slim device that's clearly labeled with the Windows Mobile logo.
The touchscreen-oriented user interface is only on camera for a few seconds, but it's enough to show the user running through many of Microsoft's online services.
Those who would like to get a sneak peek as something that probably won't be on the market before 2013 can do so on NBC's website.
The concept Windows Mobile device appears at the very beginning of the first episode, Eyes Wide Open.
