Palringo for iPhone Adds Push-to-Talk Messaging

Palringo is an instant messaging service that offers mobile device users the ability to connect with users on other IM services using text and images.

In its latest update to the iPhone version, Palringo has added Push-to-Talk -- walkie-talkie style voice instant messaging.

On the iPhone, this applications launches and connects with a single screen-tap. It then presents IM contacts in a presence-aware buddy list, showing the IM service of the contacts. From this screen, voice, picture, or text-based messages are single screen-tap operations.

Palringo for the iPhone is free and installs directly from the iTunes App Store.

This application is also available for Windows Mobile and Symbian S60 smartphones.
