Paragon Software Group, makers of the Talking E-Dictionary Series for Windows Mobile devices, has updated the core software with the new SlovoEd 7.0 Engine. This new engine enables faster browsing, better compression and memory card support, and an optimized add-on sound module for mobile audio dictionaries and phrase books.
SlovoEd dictionaries are based on linguistic databases from the world’s leading publishers such as
Merriam-Webster, Oxford UP, Duden, PONS and Harrap. A multilingual on-screen keyboard layout for 30 languages enables users to enter and translate words and letters in different languages. And, special learning tools such as "Flash Cards" allow users to add new words to local collections for further study and knowledge testing.
The SlovoEd series is currently compatible with all Windows Mobile 5, 6, and 6.1 devices. SlovoEd Deluxe retails for US $59.95 (44.95 EUR, VAT included); SlovoEd Classic for $39.95 (29.95 EUR, VAT included), and SlovoEd Compact for $24.95 USD (18.95 EUR, VAT included).
