WalkingHotSpot Comes out of Beta

WalkingHotSpot, a mobile hotspot application for Symbian S60 and Windows Mobile smarpthones, has come out of beta and is now a commerical application. WalkingHotSpot uses the Wi-Fi antenna and cellular wireless connection of smartphones to create a mobile-powered hotspot.

Purchase Options

WalkingHotSpot is available as a seven-day trial where it only supports one device connected to the mobile hotspot. To unlock it for more devices, the following purchase options are available:

• Monthly Pass for $6.99
• Annual Pass for $24.99 (introductory offer)

WalkingHotSpot is compatible with Symbian S60 3rd Edition and Windows Mobile 6 devices. Support for other devices is planned for future releases.

Using WalkingHotSpot requires that the user has a data plan as internet access with the Wi-Fi connection hops onto the data connection. An unlimited data plan is advised.
