The BlackBerry Bold is one of the most highly-anticipated smartphones of this fall. And if a new report is correct, U.S. consumers will have to continue anticipating it for another few months.
This device was originally scheduled to be out this summer, or September 30 at the latest. But a product roadmap that leaked from AT&T yesterday shows this device is currently expected to debut some time in November.
At this point, AT&T is the only carrier in the U.S. that has committed to the Bold, although it's expected to be eventually available from a wide variety of them.
Earlier unconfirmed reports have indicated that RIM is still working on improving this device's software.
More about the BlackBerry Bold
RIM unveiled the BlackBerry Bold earlier this summer. This smartphone will offer a number of firsts for this long-running product line.
In addition to being the first BlackBerry with the 3G standard HSDPA, it will have a higher-resolution screen than any previous RIM model, and much better support for working with Microsoft Office files.
