Texas Instruments released its Wi-Fi and Bluetooth software drivers for use with the Open Handset Alliance's Android project today.
Open access to these technologies simplifies the design process for handset manufacturers and software developers, providing the resources to more easily create cutting-edge Android-based devices.
TI previously announced support for the Android platform with its OMAP 3 applications processors.
