Google Earth has been released for the iPhone/iPod Touch. A more detailed application than Google Maps, Google Earth has been used in real estate, travel planning, and worldwide gaming.
The new version of Google Earth for Apple's smartphones and handhelds features the same touch-based navigation found in the mobile edition of Google Maps. It adds the MyLocation feature and photos called Panoramio, which are high-quality, geo-located images of popular destinations.
Due to the high-data nature of the application, its best used with Wi-Fi connections, though it is usable over 3G connections.
For more information and to download Google Earth for the iPhone/iPod Touch, visit the Apple App Store.
