Griffin Technology has introduced iTalk, a free application for the iPhone and iPod touch that allows users to create high-quality recordings and then transfer them to a Mac or PC.
This is a two-part software application. iTalk runs on the device and does mobile recording and playback. Users can pause/resume recordings and even append to previous recordings. Recordings are saved as high-quality AIFF files, playable in iTunes and most other media players.
The companion program, iTalk Sync, runs on a desktop to transfer recordings from iPod or iPhone for editing and sharing. This happens over a Wi-Fi network.
Griffin's iTalk is free for a limited time, and is now available at the iTunes App Store.
For additional information, visit the product page on Griffin's website.
