New Version of Free Iris Web Browser Released

Torch Mobile has released the second beta of its Iris web browser for Windows Mobile. This contains over 100 fixes and improvements from the original.

The company is promising that this version is faster than its predecessor, and that “memory pressure” warnings when opening large pages should be much rarer.

Iris aims to bring the full Web experience to mobile phones. It uses the WebKit rendering engine, and offers Advanced HTML and CSS support
