A roadmap has surfaced that describes a number of unannounced smartphones Nokia expects to release next year.
This document, which was leaked to Engadget , speaks about advances in Nokia's hardware. There are more touchscreens, alternative keyboard styles, and even more installed RAM than devices have seen to date.

Some highlights from this list:
The Nokia E66 appears in this list, even though it has been announced and released already. The fact that it sits this far down the list could mean that it was a project that was accelerated internally.
The model codenamed Corolla will be among the top devices in Nokia’s lineup: VGA screen resolution, 8 megapixel camera, and S60 5th Edition. Of note, this model states that it does not have a touchscreen, but S60 5th Edition was created for touchscreen-based devices.
The model codenamed Jig is a carrier-created model. Its lack of major features would seem to indicate an easier path to market for this device to be included in the carrier line-up.
The model codenamed Eitri is enough to make Nokia fans drool. The release date of this prototype puts it a few weeks after Mobile World Congress (MWC) takes place. Also including S60 5th Edition, the notation of a pressure sensitive touch UI would mean an advanced application of haptic technology, possibly Nokia Hapiktos, which was demoed in early 2007 on an Internet Tablet device.
Other than the already released E66, S60 version 3.1 (Feature Pack 1), is being retired in favor of 3.2 (Feature Pack 2) and S60 5th Edition.
It should be noted that these are only prototypes. When these would be released into concept view, or announced as full models, is not clear from the data.
