The weather was hot and days were long when the unlocked version of the Nokia E71 debuted in the U.S., but apparently there's still a chance that this model will be released through a wireless carrier... AT&T to be specific.

Some images of this Symbian S60 smartphone bearing the AT&T logo and with AT&T's applications has been leaked to BGR.
The source of these says the device will sell for $150 with a 2-year contract
When it's supposed to debut is not known.
More about the Nokia E71
The Nokia E71 has a 320-by-240-pixel QVGA screen and QWERTY keyboard design that's similar to devices such as the Palm Treo Pro, RIM BlackBerry Bold, and Samsung Epix, though in a body that is only 10mm thick.
It comes with Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR and A2DP, 3.2 MPx digital camera with Carl Zeiss optics and auto focus, a microSDHC memory card slot, and Symbian S60 Feature Pack 1 operating system.
Whether AT&T's version -- currently referred to as the Nokia E71x -- will have this same feature set is not yet known.
