T-Mobile USA has increased the prices it charges smartphone customers for an wireless data plan.

Previously, this carrier charged $19.99 a month for a service plan that included unlimited data, as long as the user had a voice plan, too. Under the new pricing, customers have to pay $5 more a month.

The $24.99 plan comes with 400 SMS or MMS messages, but for $34.99 a month, users can get unlimited text/picture messaging.

Those who purchased a T-Mobile G1 since its debut last month have already been signed up for $24.99 plan.
