WiFiLocations is an application that enables the automatic starting of the Wi-Fi radio in Windows Mobile devices based on cell-ID positioning. Currently in version .6, it supports the following features:
WiFiLocations is only compatible with GSM-based Windows Mobile devices at this time. CDMA models use a different, and non-publicized, method for coding the cell-ID that is read by this application.
This is a free application and can be downloaded via th Wi-FiLocations thread at XDA-Developers. The developer does accept donations for his work.
