AT&T gives iPhone users free access to its Wi-Fi hotspots, but the process of getting the smartphone connected to one of these is complicated and time consuming. A new application greatly simplifies this.
In order to get an iPhone 3G connected to an AT&T hotspot, the user must send AT&T a text (SMS) message, and then wait for a reply with a 24-hour access code.
Devicescape's new Easy Wi-Fi for AT&T takes the hassle out of this process. Users install this application from the iTunes Store, input their telephone number, and thereafter logging onto an AT&T hotspot only requires tapping a single button.
The regular price for Easy Wi-Fi for AT&T is just $1.99, but it's free until Friday, Dec. 5.
