myPower Protects the iPhone 3G, Also Doubles its Battery Life

Tekkeon has unveiled myPower for iPhone, a leather sleeve with a rechargeable lithium polymer battery inside.

This accessory also acts as a dock, enabling users to sync and charge without removing the iPhone from its case. It comes with a USB cable for connection to a computer or USB power adapter, When charging with a power adapter, the smartphone and external battery can be charged simultaneously.

myPower is also bundled with a myGuard screen protector for the iPhone 3G. 

"Our new myPower for iPhone acts like an espresso shot for the iPhone, giving it a boost of power for up to five additional hours of talk time, or Internet usage," says Jerry Yang, president of Tekkeon, Inc.

Available Next Week

The suggested price for the myPower for iPhone MP1200 is $69.95.

Pre-orders are being accepted on the Tekkeon website, and will begin shipping on December 15.
