An online retailer has given the world its first glimpse of the HTC Iolite, which will apparently be a mid-range Windows Mobile smartphone.
This device has not yet been announced by HTC, but it is listed now on eXpansys' website.
According to this online store, the Iolite will have a tablet shape with a 2.8-inch, QVGA touchscreen.
It will run Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional on a 528 MHz processor, 288 MB of RAM, and 512 MB of Flash ROM. This device will also include a microSD card slot.
The HTC Iolite will apparently debut first in Europe, and this quad-band GSM phone will have only the 3G frequencies used outside of N. America. In addition, it will have Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g) and Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR.
Other features will include GPS and a 3.2 MPx camera.
HTC says that this models' 1100 mAh battery will offer up to 400 minutes of talk time on a GSM connection, or up to 400 hours of stand-by time.
Overall, this device will be 102 mm by 53.5 mm by 14.5 mm, and weigh 103 g with battery.
Pricing and Availability?
Although the HTC Iolite is listed on eXpansys' European website, this retailer doesn't yet list a price, and is only taking pre-orders.
There is no word on when the official announcement of this model will be, or if a N. American version is on its way.
