Major Firmware Update for Nokia E71 Released

A major firmware update has been released for the Nokia E71. The European and N. American variants of this Symbian S60 model received the update within a day of each other, fast work when compared to previous software updates with other models.

Some of the items addressed in the version 200.21.118 firmware include:

• the addition of the Internet Radio and My Nokia applications
• support for Intranet Browsing
• new black and red themes
• Localization fixes
• Easy Dialing support for Simplified Chinese language
• Startup Settings, Certificates, and Security updates
• stability and functionality improvements
• and more

To perform this update, connect the E71 to a Windows XP or Vista PC and run the Nokia Software Updater program.

Note: Installing this update will wipe all of the information from the mobile.
