Truphone Anywhere Brings VoIP to Android/T-Mobile G1

Truphone has announced that its free VoIP/IM application/service is now available for the Google Android platform, including the T-Mobile G1.

Truphone is an application that supports VoIP calling via Truphone and Google Talk services; and instant messaging via MSN, Skype, Yahoo, Google Talk, Twitter, and other similar applications.

Currently supported for the U.S. and U.K. markets, this free application can be downloaded via the Android Market.

There are also version of this VoIP application for BlackBerry and iPhone.
