Canada's Bell Mobility has released the Palm Centro, an inexpensive, consumer-oriented smartphone with 3G support that runs the Palm OS.
This device is hardly new, having been on the market from other carriers since late 2007. Still, Bell Mobility is offering it at an exceptionally low price: $49.95 CAN with a three-year contract.

More About the Palm Centro
Despite its small and light design, the Centro still includes a full QWERTY keyboard and a 320 by 320 pixel touchscreen. It is 4.2 inches tall, 2.1 inches wide, and 0.73 inches thick, and weighs 4.2 ounces.
Palm is targeting this model at consumers and first-time smartphone users, hence its small size and low price.
This device runs on Bell Mobility's CDMA network, and it supports this carrier's high-speed EV-DO wireless network. It also includes Bluetooth.
In addition, the Centro has a microSD card slot, 128 MB of internal storage, and a 1.3 MP camera.
