How to Update
The 5800 XpressMusic can be updated by connecting it to a Windows XP or Vista PC, then running the Nokia Software Updater program. Because this is a major update, backing up all phone data to a memory card and/or the PC is recommended before proceeding.
This smartphone also features the ability to be updated over-the-air (OTA).
