Nokia Maps 3.0 Beta has recently received a major update based on the feedback garnered through Nokia's BetaLabs.
For those who aren't familiar with it, Nokia Maps plus Ovi is a free service that allows people to pre-plan their journey at home on their PC and synchronize with their mobile, giving access to pre-planned routes and favorite destinations while on the move.
In the latest version, this application gains support for Nokia's Symbian S60 devices which use Feature Pack 1 (v3.1) -- such as the N95, N82, E71, and E66. Support for Feature Pack 2 was already included, but N96 support has been fixed.
In addition, Nokia Maps 3.0 Beta adds:
This is a free application, but there are also subscription options which add maps and other navigation features based on region and device.
