The latest version of NormSoft's Pocket Tunes adds a number of new features: direct podcast downloads, support for streaming audio in WMA format, and the the ability to synchronize iTunes playlists.
For those who are unfamiliar with it, this is an alternate audio player for Palm OS and Windows Mobile that includes options not in the standard ones, like allowing users to auto-sync their music from their desktop PC and CDs.
What's New
Pocket Tunes 5.0 lets users directly download their favorite podcasts, and browse/search a growing catalog of over 1,000 of the most popular podcasts.
This new version also adds support for the popular Internet radio format, WMA (Windows Media Audio). With this addition, the built-in catalog contains many more stations.
Support for PNG album art makes it more likely that album art will appear with music files.
Pocket Tunes 5.0 is available now on NormSoft's website for $37.95.
