Take Your media on the Go with Media Go
Wireless connectivity via Wi-Fi or 3G will enables the user to share pictures and video, or upload them to a photo service without needing a PC.
However, the PC is not left out of the equation. The W995 will include Sony Ericsson's new Media Go, a side-loading application which integrates the W995 with Windows PCs in order to transfer music, videos, photos, playlists, and podcasts between the two devices.
It will offer auto-sync and auto-convert, and also rip audio content from CDs and push it immediately to the W995.
"With Media Go there’s no need to worry about format, resolution and 'frame per second' anymore." said Alexandre Cardon. “No longer will the video you transferred from your PC to your phone play in low resolution or bad quality. With Media Go and the W995 the experience is as good on your phone as it was on your PC."
