A N. American version of Nokia's first S60 smartphone with a touchscreen is reportedly now available in its U.S. flagship stores.
The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is the first to hit the market with Symbian S60 5th Edition, which expands the abilities of the S60 platform by adding touchscreen and enhanced resolution support.
This model has been available in Europe for some time, but the version being introduced today offers support for the wireless frequencies used by most of the 3G networks in N. America.
The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic NAM is available now for $400. It is being sold unlocked, and therefore usable with carriers like AT&T and T-Mobile.
