Google has released a mobile version of Google Finance for Android-based devices. This allows users to follow the stock markets throughout the day on their smartphone.
Finance for Android offers real-time streaming quotes, stock look-ups with search auto-suggestion, and 'recent quotes'.
For each stock, users can see detailed quotes, charts and news, and any change made to a portfolio automatically syncs up with the Google Finance website. This means a separate portfolio isn't required on the phone.
Those in the US can now download Finance for Android from the on-device Android Market. More information can be found on the Google Mobile Blog.
