Nokia Releases Updated Version of Mail for Exchange

Nokia has recently released version2.9.158 of its Mail for Exchange. This application enables Nokia's Symbian S60 devices to connect to Microsoft Exchange servers for push email, calendar, contacts, and tasks syncronization.

Some of the features of this update include:

• Support for Symbian S60 v3.2's Access Point groups
• Enhancements to polling times in adverse network conditions to improve battery life
• Management of devices by name, instead of IMEI via Outlook Web Access
• Default disabling of calendar, contacts, and tasks syncing on install to prevent inadvertant loss of data
• and more

Mail for Exchange is a free application and works with nearly all version 3.0 and above Symbian S60 devices. It can be downloaded over-the-air by using the Download! application present on most Nokia devices, or from the Nokia for Business website.
