BlackBerry Users Will Soon Get Access to Google Enterprise Software

The Google Apps Enterprise team will soon release Google Apps Connector for BlackBerry Enterprise Server, which those with a BlackBerry smartphone to use many of the built-in applications with Google's own enterprise software.

Google Apps is a hosted solution for enterprise messaging and collaboration that includes Gmail, Google Calendar, and more.

Google Apps Connector for BlackBerry Enterprise Server will connect a BlackBerry Enterprise Server directly to the Google cloud, and create a seamless connection between Google Apps and the built-in BlackBerry smartphone applications for mail, calendar, and address book.

This software is currently in beta testing with select companies and universities. Google is expecting a July release for Google Apps Premier and Education Edition customers, at no additional cost.
