HTC has introduced a hotfix for a bug in the Bluetooth security on the Touch Pro, Touch Diamond, and Touch HD.
As it stands now, it's possible for hackers to gain access to files on these smartphones with their FTP service running over Bluetooth short-range wireless networking. The newly-relesed hotfix closes this security hole.
This can be downloaded now from HTC's website.
As it's a hotfix, not a ROM update, installation is quick and easy. However, if the device is hard rest, this fix will have to be re-installed.
