HTC has trademarked a collection of words which are likely going to be the names for upcoming smartphones.
The names trademarked most recently are Dawn, Imagio, Interlude, Tattoo, Vigor. Earlier this year it trademarked Teeter and Max.
In the past, this company hasn't gone through the hassle of trademarking code-names for models, so it's possible these will be the actual product names for these devices.
Also so on the list of trademarked words are ones that this company has already used for products: Hero, Touch Diamond, TouchFLO, TyTN, and many more.
At the same time, HTC had reserved words that it has never used. For example, back in 2007 it trademarked Commander and SnapVUE, and in 2006 it trademarked VueFLO.
Details Are MIA
So far, none of these models has been the subject of a rumor, so nothing is known about them.
It's not even possible to say whether these devices will run Microsoft's Windows Mobile or Google's Android OS -- HTC makes smartphones with both of these operating systems.
