T-Mobile USA announced the BlackBerry Curve 8520 earlier this week, and now an unconfirmed report says Verizon will release this smartphone, too
This device is the latest model in the Curve series, which has been around for a while. It will run BlackBerry OS 5.0, and use the standard RIM design, with a QVGA display above a QWERTY keyboard.
According to the leaked information, Verizon's version will support this carrier's mobile broadband service, Wi-Fi b/g, and Bluetooth.
Naturally, this model will come with RIM's standard suite of software, including push email and video and audio players.
Pricing & Availability?
Exactly when Verizon will release the BlackBerry Curve 8530 is not yet known, nor is the price it will charge. However, this device is expected to be a relatively inexpensive model in Verizon's offerings.
