Real Networks is working to bring its streaing music service to Apple's iPhone and devices running Google's Android OS.
This week, the company will submit a version of Rhapsody for the iPhone and iPod touch to Apple for review. It will then be up to Apple to decide if this competitor to iTunes will be released.
In addition, Real promises that it is working diligently on a version for Android, but doesn't say when this will be available.
More about Rhapsody
For $15 a month, Rhapsody users get access to a catalogue of 8 million+ songs. They can assemble a personal library of their favorites, or randomly select from genres.
