Facebook App for the iPhone Updated

Facebook 3.0 for the the Apple iPhone has been released. The latest version of this free app includes a lengthy list of enhancements.

The general look has been updated, and it now offers landscape mode.

It also lets users quickly call or text their friends, submit friend requests, and see mutual friends.

More Photo Options
The new version of Facebook has enhanced multimedia support:

• upload video from an iPhone 3GS
• zoom into photos
• upload photos to any album
• better photo management: create albums, delete albums and photos, change the profile pic

Facebook 3.0 even has its own web browser built in. Previous, users following links in posts had to exit the app, but not any longer.

It also has better support for events and friends birthdays.
