Nokia 5800 XpressMusic Gets a Small System Software Update

A minor system software update has been released for the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. This includes a new version of Ovi Maps and other improvements.

Software version 31.0.008 includes Ovi Maps 3.0 which offers improved maps and enhanced pedestrian and drive navigation.

In addition, Nokia's description says that the new firmware version for this Symbian S60 smartphone includes "performance improvements", but does not describe them.

This software release is available through the Nokia Software Updater at www.nokia.com/softwareupdates.
