AT&T May Launch the LG Monaco and HP Obsidian in Q4

According to an roadmap that has leaked out of AT&T showing upcoming Windows phones, this carrier plans to offer the LG Monaco and HP Obsidian in mid- to late Q4.

The Monaco is scheduled to launch at some point in November, while the Obsidian will have to wait until December.

No pricing information is available for these models.

An Overview of the LG Monaco
The Monaco will be a slider, with a 3.2-inch WVGA touchscreen and a landscape-oriented QWERTY keyboard.

This quad-band phone will sport AT&T's 3G mobile broadband service, Wi-Fi, and stereo Bluetooth 2.1.

In addition, this LG model is going to have a 5 megapixel auto-focus camera, a GPS receiver, a microSD memory card slot, and a 1,500 mAh battery.

Overall, the Monaco will be 4.4 inches by 2.2 inches by 0.6 inches (113 mm x 55 mm x 16 mm). It is going to weigh 4.5 ounces (127 g).

An Overview of the HP Obsidian 
The Obsidian will supposedly have a popular design for smartphones: a tablet shape with a keyboard fixed below a landscape-oriented display. In this case, the display will be a 2.5-inch AM-OLED touchscreen with a QVGA resolution.

It will reportedly debut with Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.5 Pro running on a 528 MHz Qualcomm processor with 256 MB of RAM.

This HP model will be a quad-band phone with HSDPA 3G, as well as  Wi-Fi b/g and Bluetooth.

Other features will allegedly include a GPS receiver, 3.2 MPx camera, and a microSD card slot.
