Unconfirmed reports of the AT&T Pure have surfaced recently, and for the first time an image of this upcoming Windows phone has come to light.
The Pure will supposedly be a version of the HTC Touch Diamond2, and the leaked image fits with this. The device shown very closely resembles the MDA Compact V, a version of Touch Diamond2 already being offered by T-Mobile UK.
This raises the possibility that this is an image of the T-Mobile device, not the Pure, as there is no AT&T logo on it.
If this really is is a picture of the Pure, there will surely be many hoping it comes in other colors.
An Overview of the AT&T Pure
As can be seen in the leakedimage, the Pure will have a tablet shape, and will include a 3.2-inch WVGAtouchscreen.
It will runWindows Mobile Pro on a528 MHz processor, and have mobile broadband, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a microSD memory card slot.
The Pure will be sister model to the AT&T Tilt2, and may come out at about the same time. The Tilt2 will reportedly launch with Windows Mobile 6.5 Pro, but there has been no word on which version of this operating system the Pure will run.
AT&T will allegedly sell this smartphone for $150 with a two-year contract and mail-in rebate.
There are no U.S. carriers offering this model at this time.
