AT&T Once Again Updating the BlackBerry Bold with Visual Voicemail

AT&T has resumed sending a system software update to users of the BlackBerry Bold that brings Visual Voicemail to this smartphone.

This carrier started distributing this update last month, but stopped a week or so later when the new version started causing problems on AT&T's network.

Visual Voicemail
As mentioned earlier, the major enhancement in BlackBerry OS 4.6.0.297 is Visual Voicemail. This is a service that gives users some information about their voice messages without having to listen to them. It displays on the user's phone's screen the name of the person who left each voicemail and how long it is.

This system software update is being pushed out the BlackBerry Bold, so users don't have to do anything to install it.

Those who don't want to wait can manually install it from the BlackBerry website.
