Google Search App for Windows Mobile Gets Updated with My Location

Naturally, Windows mobile users can access Google's search engine with their web browsers, but this company also offers a stand-alone app that offers extra features. This app has just been updated with support for My Location and more.

With My Location, this search engine will automatically give local results. For example, a search for "Italian restaurant" will contain local businesses along with web results.

Other New Features
The new version of Google Mobile App helps reduce typing time by providing suggestions to complete queries. It also gives URL suggestions, which bring users directly to a web page, skipping the search results page entirely.

In addition, those who also have Google Maps on their smartphone can tap on results with a red pin next to them and the mapping app will launch automatically.
