Apple, Inc. has released a small update for the system software on the iPhone and iPod touch. This fixes a few bugs.

According to the release notes, iPhone OS 3.1.2:

  • resolves a sporadic issue where the device may not wake from sleep
  • fixes a bug that can occasionally cause a crash during video streaming
