When T-Mobile USA released the Motorola Cliq last month, only this carrier's current customers could buy it. This smartphone is now available to anyone who is interested in a slider running Google's Android with Motorola's social-networking additions.
The Cliq will eventually replace the T-Mobile G1, and like its predecessor has a sliding keyboard and HVGA capacitive touchscreen.
This smartphone is selling for the $200 with a two-year service agreement. Those who are on one of this carrier's contract-free plans will need to pay $400.

An Overview of the Motorola Cliq
The Cliq is a "slider", with a 3.1-inch HVGA capacitive Touchscreen and a sliding landscape-oriented QWERTY keyboard.
It runs Google's Android OS, and comes with a suite of entertainment and productivity software, much of which ties in to Google's free services.
This smartphone is the first with Blur, Motorola's new Android app that lets users work with a variety of social networking and email services from the homescreen. It also offers access to thousands of third-party software titles through the Android Market.
The Cliq is able to access T-Mobile's 3G network, plus it has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
It is bundled with a 2 GB microSD memory card, and has support for up to 32 GB cards.
In addition, this smartphone has a 5 megapixel auto-focus camera with video capture and playback at 24 frames per second, and a 3.5 mm headset jack. It also sports a GPS receiver and a digital compass.
The Motorola Cliq is available in two casing colors, white and black.
