The second of Nokia's X-Series music-oriented smartphones, the Nokia X6, will become available in some markets on November 12.
This release will be followed by a special music event where the X6 will be profiled along with the release of an international music artist's latest album.
More About the X6
The X6 will be a Symbian S60v5, touchscreen device (similar to the Nokia 5800XM and 5530XM) and will feature a design that has not yet been seen in Nokia's other offerings.
It will have a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen, 32 GB of internal storage, a 5 megapixel digital camera, Wi-Fi, and quad-band GSM cellular capability with HSPA for speedy downloading and uploading.
The X6 is going to be a replacement for the current XpressMusic lineup, yet will come with the same addition of compatibility with Nokia's Comes with Music (CwM) service. This is a subscription-based service where the cost is included with the device, and then users get to download an unlimited amount of music for 12 months -- keeping it afterward.
A version of the X6 that does not include Comes with Music is expected to be announced in 2010.
Rihanna and X6 Debut on November 16
The X6 will receive an additional boost to the public eye when it will be featured at an album release party featuring international music artist Rihanna and her latest album: Rated R. Nokia is sponsoring the event which will include a dedicated website that will feature live streaming of the event and several methods to interact.

Availability and Price
The X6 is currently listed at £530 at eXpansys UK; however, it is expected that the price will fall in line with the pre-announced price of €450 Euros after launch.
