RIM offers a free app that lets BlackBerry smartphone users synchronize their multimedia files between their PC or Mac and their mobile device. There's a new version of this software with a few new features.
BlackBerry Media Sync 3.0 has added the ability to sync synchronize images both ways. Previously, it could automatically download pictures off the camera, but the new version can upload them, too.
In addition, these can be automatically re-sized in the upload process so that the phone's limited storage isn't overwhelmed by photos taken with very high-resolution cameras.
More about BlackBerry Media Sync
This free app was created to sync music, video, and photos between a BlackBerry's memory card and their desktop, whether its running Microsoft Windows or Apple Mac OS X.
It can work with iTunes or Windows Media Player, and lets users synchronize pre-made and random playlists.
