Those with a T-Mobile Dash 3G can now download an upgrade to the latest version of Microsoft's mobile operating system for free.
This inexpensive smartphone was released last year with Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard, but an upgrade to version 6.5 Standard is now available. Changes in this version are not dramatic, with the most notable being a new version of Internet Explorer Mobile.
It can be downloaded from T-Mobile's website.
A Windows Mobile 6.5 Pro upgrade was also recently released for T-Mobile USA's version of the HTC Touch Pro2.
